For a dose of culture, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is a must-see. Its stunning crystal-like facade is a work of art in itself, and inside, the diverse collections range from dinosaur bones to ancient artifacts. I spent hours exploring and was captivated by the history and beauty housed within its walls. Don't forget to explore the waterfront! The Harbourfront Centre is a hub of activity with art installations, performances, and delicious food. Taking a stroll along the boardwalk offers incredible views of the Toronto skyline across the calm waters, where you can often spot canoes and kayaks. It’s a wonderfully serene yet vibrant area, perfect for a relaxing afternoon or an evening walk. Foodies, assemble! St. Lawrence Market is an absolute gem. This historic market is bursting with fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, baked goods, and international delicacies. I loved wandering through the stalls, sampling different treats, and soaking in the lively atmosphere. It's a fantastic way to experience the local flavor of Toronto. And while the list covers many fantastic spots, remember that Toronto offers even more! From cheering on the Raptors or Maple Leafs (the Hockey Hall of Fame is a must for sports fans!) to exploring the vibrant neighbourhoods, there's a corner for everyone.
