Restaurant Review 📍Los Angeles
Los Angeles is known for their delicious and diverse food options right? Today I tried JoJo’s Mediterranean Grill right on Sunset Blvd. ☀️ I loved the location, the parking validation and the free bathrooms but the food was not great. The price was pretty cheap, I paid a little over $12 for their chicken shawarma bowl 🥣. However, the bowl was very mushy because of the soggy rice and the chicken was a little dry. I wish the bowl would’ve had more veggies instead of just chopped tomatoes. I ate outside live the atmosphere but probably won’t be visiting again! I rate this restaurant a 5/10🚩#losangeles #foodie #losangelesfood #la #food #mofofilms #podcaster
My recent visit to JoJo's Mediterranean Grill left me with quite a few thoughts, especially after trying their chicken shawarma bowl. While the location on Sunset Blvd, the parking validation, and the free bathrooms were definite perks that made the experience convenient, the food itself, particularly the soggy rice and dry chicken, was a bit of a letdown. It made me wonder if I just picked the wrong dish or if there are ways to navigate their menu for a better experience. If you're considering trying JoJo's Mediterranean Grill, perhaps after looking up 'jojo's mediterranean grill menu reviews' online, here are some things I’d suggest considering. From what I've seen and from the general 'jojo's mediterranean' offerings, they typically have a variety of staples like gyros, falafel, salads, and different types of bowls. Given my experience with the rice, which was 'very mushy', it might be worth asking if you can get the rice on the side, or perhaps opt for a different base altogether, like a fresh salad. Sometimes, a simple request can turn a meal around. For the 'dry chicken' issue, maybe asking for extra sauce or exploring other protein options could lead to a juicier result. Looking at the typical 'jojo's mediterranean grill menu' and knowing the price point is around '$10-20' as noted in the OCR details, it’s clear they aim for affordability. This can sometimes mean that portions are generous, but the consistency of certain items might vary. It’s always a good idea to check out other 'jojo's mediterranean grill reviews' to see if there are consistently highly-rated items or specific dishes that other patrons rave about. For instance, sometimes a restaurant's falafel is a standout even if their shawarma isn't the best. If JoJo's doesn't quite hit the mark for you, don't worry, Los Angeles is truly a haven for diverse food options. If you're specifically craving Mediterranean cuisine and JoJo's doesn't seem like the best fit after weighing the 'reviews' and 'menu' options, there are countless other establishments in LA known for their incredible hummus, crispy falafel, and perfectly grilled kebabs. My personal tip is to always check recent photos from other diners on review sites – they often give a very honest look at what to expect in terms of portion size, presentation, and quality. Ultimately, while my chicken shawarma bowl was a 5/10 experience, I believe every restaurant has its strengths, and sometimes, a different order or a slight modification can lead to a much more satisfying meal. Happy eating in LA!
