Working out with Aunt Flo 🩸
Day 3 #SoftGirl 30-day challenge. Listen….lol I tried. I ran .7miles but those cramps got the best of me today. 10minutes in the gym. Imma go back and finish once this 800mg ibuprofen kicks in. Or I might take a nap, stay tuned🤣 and on another note, I really could’ve capped for the internet today. Made it seem like I burned 800cals and yall wouldn’t have known the difference. But see how I told the truth. Being honest definitely gives soft-girl🩷
Working out while on your period can be challenging yet rewarding. Many women find themselves torn between rest and staying active. Engaging in light exercise, such as walking or gentle yoga, can help ease cramps and uplift your mood. Hydration is vital; drinking plenty of water can combat bloating and fatigue. Consider scheduling less intense workouts or focusing on flexibility and stretching to accommodate your energy levels. Furthermore, remember that honesty about your experiences can resonate with others. Sharing the struggle helps build community support during cyclical challenges. Keep in mind that everyone's experience with their period is unique, so listen to your body and find what works best for you. If you're participating in a challenge like the Soft Girl 30-day challenge, it's important to remind yourself that it's perfectly okay to modify your exercise routine based on how you're feeling. Incorporate self-care practices, such as using heat pads or taking pain relief when necessary, to ensure your comfort while maintaining activity levels. Each small effort counts, and it's about progress, not perfection. Embrace your journey and support each other through these relatable challenges!
