Replying to @Linz | Homeschool Mama so I was gonna do a whole reset with ya’ll but… 🥲😂
the real update is that I still feel stomach cramps and pain when engaging my core.
My fever left almost as soon as it came yesterday, yay!
Today, even tho I can only shuffle around like an old lady, I can move!
My parents have been popping in and helping me do things. If pain persists tomorrow, I’ll get seen — but I think this was just food poisoning or some nasty stomach bug. Let’s hope at least. :)
Thanks ya’ll for being concerned 🥹💛🙏
From my own experience dealing with sudden stomach cramps and discomfort, it’s essential to listen closely to your body. Often, such symptoms following a fever might indicate food poisoning or a viral stomach bug. During these times, staying hydrated and resting as much as possible can significantly aid recovery. I found that moving gently, even when feeling weak—like shuffling around carefully—helps prevent stiffness without stressing the core. Support from family or friends makes a huge difference; it’s not just about physical help but also emotional comfort. Be patient with yourself as recovery can sometimes feel slow and frustrating. If the pain in your abdomen or core persists beyond a couple of days, or if you develop new symptoms like a high fever, vomiting, or severe pain, it’s crucial to seek medical evaluation promptly. I also want to highlight the importance of hygiene and careful food handling to prevent foodborne illnesses. Washing hands thoroughly, avoiding questionable foods, and ensuring proper cooking temperatures are practical measures everyone can take. Remember, while mild stomach bugs often resolve quickly, ongoing discomfort should never be ignored. Trust your instincts and health professionals if you feel something more serious might be going on. Sharing experiences and tips within supportive communities can provide comfort and valuable advice during recovery.
