• Hector falls is located on the Seneca Lake Scenic Byway along with some great views, waterfalls, and tons of Vineyards
• Stay at Hotel Laurel! This motel offered the most perfect view of Seneca Lake and only little over 0.5 mile away from Watkins Glen! Staff was great and room was clean!
• Stop at “Babes n Buds” coffee for some great and unique coffee options as well as some amazing breakfast options!
• Hazlitt Vineyard has some FANTASTIC wine (and wine slushees). The staff was so friendly and kind. The vineyard offered such a homey vibe! 10/10 recommend!
• Taughhannock Falls was by far my favorite site of the whole trip. It was about 45 mins away from Watkins Glenn. It’s an easy 1 mile out and back walk to the falls. There is a $10 entrance fee.. but worth it!!
• Ithaca falls was a beautiful and quick waterfall to see! Bonus if it rains before!!
• Cornell University is a must see if your in the Ithaca area. Such a beautiful campus with waterfalls, bridges, and old buildings.
• On the way out of Ithaca, stop at Wells Falls! It’s a short hike to a very cool looking waterfall that comes out of an old factory!
Hope this helps!! Feel free to ask any questions and let me know if there is some other sites to add to this list!!
