Review moved into the condo on the first day, but found Jackpot! 🤢 (V. Tenant)
Hello, everyone. Today, come to share the experience (of my sister) that no one wants to meet and no one should meet. In case of an illustration to someone who is looking for a condo rental. 😭
Our sister just rented a condo around the corner. I saw a picture of a beautiful room, although it was an old condo, but the agent talked well, informed me of 10 years of experience + appointment to see the room (there was no cleaning at the time, but the agent informed me that there would be a housekeeper to clean it before entering). The sister agreed to sign a contract to pay the insurance, but when the day actually moved in...The dream is very broken. 😱
✨ What you find (in addition to PM2.5 and room conditions, this is the greatest health hazard):
• 🪳 Peter's Kingdom: Open the fridge, find the remains of the younger ones everywhere! In the middle of the box, there is shit and eggs, cockroaches spread (very creepy).
• 🍄 The air conditioner has mold: The air conditioner says the fungus is very heavy. Even if it is washed, what will be the health of the lungs? 😭
• 💧 Leaky Water Ton Hose: Under the seepage sink, the sewer pipe on the porch can't drain. (The water pipe is not practical.)
💔 The most upsetting thing:
When the agent was informed, the answer was "to clean it up," and when our sister asked for the contract to be terminated because the room was not really ready, it was refused the insurance refund, claiming that "the agent did not escape and find a solution, including the contract was signed and could not be refunded" (but just took action when asking for the termination of the contract).
⚖️ Tenant rights we should know:
According to the law, the landlord must deliver a "ready and safe" room. If the room has such a serious hygiene problem, we really have the right to terminate the contract, but of course it will take some time. 🥹
✅ What we've done:
- Put the daily records as evidence. 📄
⏳ pending:
1. Prepare a complaint against an online congressman (will not lose money for free)
2. Collect Photo / Clip / Chat Evidence with Timeline Remix
Who has experienced this experience? Or what kind of way to cope? Let's share it. I'll update the next ep to get your money back. 👇✨
