when his attention feels like coming home

The divine feminine isn't something a man unlocks in you.

But when you've been fragmented for long enough when your nervous system has been in survival for so long you forgot what safety feels like, his attention can feel like coming home to yourself.

And that feeling is real. I'm not dismissing it.

But there's a difference between feeling yourself through him and feeling yourself as yourself.

One is borrowed. One is yours.

The work is learning to tell the difference and slowly, gently, building a relationship with yourself that doesn't need his eyes on you to stay alive.

That's the real journey. And it's worth every step.

If this resonated you already know why. 🤍

... Read moreFrom my own journey, I’ve come to understand that feeling seen by someone else, especially a romantic partner, can indeed bring an overwhelming sense of safety and presence. It’s like a fleeting taste of coming home, where your body relaxes, and your nervous system feels a sigh of relief. However, this sensation often masks a deeper truth — that the safety we seek externally is just a reflection of what we have yet to cultivate internally. For many women, especially those who have experienced prolonged stress or emotional fragmentation, the nervous system stays stuck in survival mode. This low-grade stress makes it difficult to feel truly at peace or connected with oneself. When a loving man's attention finally arrives, it can momentarily lower that defense, making it feel like we are embodying our divine feminine energy. But this reliance turns out to be borrowed energy — vibrant and magnetic only as long as the external validation persists. What I’ve found valuable is focusing on rebuilding a relationship with myself in the quiet moments when no one is watching. This means learning to recognize the subtle cues within my body, understanding what genuine relaxation and presence feel like independent of another person’s gaze or approval. Practices like energy healing, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation help bridge this gap. They teach us that true freedom and embodiment don’t arise from pursuit or external desire but from welcoming ourselves fully, including our shadows. It’s not an easy path, but every small step toward reclaiming that inner safety transforms how we relate to others and the world. When we no longer need someone else to validate our worth or awaken our divine feminine, we move from fragmentation toward wholeness. The magnetic energy shifts from being reactive to proactive: we become our own sanctuary. In summary, while the feeling of coming home through his attention is genuine, it shouldn’t be the foundation of your self-worth or sense of identity. Embodying the divine feminine is a personal, internal journey that thrives in stillness, silence, and self-compassion. When that foundation is strong, the connections we form are more authentic, balanced, and enduring.
