Stranger Things Broadway Show in NYC Review

Okay, just saw the Stranger Things stage show last night, and I’m still vibrating. If you thought Harry Potter on Broadway was cool, multiply that by 10, this is next-level.

Less “play,” more full-body EXPERIENCE. The effects (demogorgon shadows, lights, that Upside Down portal) literally made me gasp. Sat orchestra row 8, center, PERFECT for getting swallowed by the visuals (rows 1-10 are golden).

Prequel to Season 1! Super newbie-friendly, just know the basics about Hawkins/the Upside Down. No need to binge all 4 seasons (but low-key want to now).

The exclusive hoodies/pins are fire, but THEY RAN OUT OF HATS BEFORE INTERMISSION. If you’re going, SPRINT to the merch stand ASAP.

Is this the most technically insane Broadway show ever? Has anyone snagged the hat online later? I need closure.

... Read moreThe Stranger Things Broadway show, a prequel to the popular series, immerses audiences in the eerie charm of Hawkins and the Upside Down. With stunning visual effects, including demogorgon shadows and otherworldly lights, this stage show transcends traditional theater, offering a full-body experience that will leave attendees vibrating with excitement. Sit in the first 10 rows for an unmatched vantage point and be prepared to gasp at the live-action magic unfolding before you. Merchandise enthusiasts should keep an eye on exclusive items like hoodies and pins, which are just as much a draw as the show itself. However, plan accordingly; popular items like hats tend to sell out by intermission, so visiting the merch stand promptly is key. This show is not only a delight for fans of the series but also accessible for newcomers—if you’re unfamiliar with the storyline, a basic understanding of Hawkins and its mysteries will suffice to enjoy the performance. As audiences rave about the technical achievements of this production, conversations abound—could this be the most technically advanced Broadway show to date? Attending such a unique performance guarantees a memorable night out in NYC. For those who have seen it, questions linger: which elements were most striking, and who can help you find those coveted collectible hats online later? With the Stranger Things Broadway show, every viewing promises new thrills and discussions long after the curtain falls.
