If you’re wondering how creators get on PR lists or land paid brand deals, this one’s for you. Whether you’re just starting out or trying to level up, here’s what actually works (and what I wish I knew sooner):
💌 1. Treat your page like your portfolio. Brands look at your page to decide if you’re a fit. That means: clean content, a clear niche, and consistency. You don’t need thousands of followers — you just need value, storytelling, and aesthetic. Bonus: start tagging and mentioning brands you genuinely use!
💌 2. Start creating UGC. Brands love seeing how you can showcase their product in a natural, creative way. Create organic content using products you already love and post them (tagging the brand, of course). These become your best pitch examples!
💌3:. Perfect your media kit. Think of this as your influencer resume. Include: who you are, your niche, audience stats, past brand work (if any), and sample content. Make it clean, visual, and easy to read. Canva is your best friend for this.
💌4. Don’t wait — start pitching! Getting PR or paid collabs doesn’t always mean you wait for the email to come to you. Find brand emails (look on Instagram bios, LinkedIn, or brand websites) and send a short, confident pitch! Include: – Who you are – Why you love the brand – What you can offer (ex: high-quality UGC, a review, story/post, etc.) – Links to your media kit and socials
