✨2025✨ a year of positivity

🎉I saw this idea last year and forgot all about it but I recently had a friend encourage me to stick to it this year! Posting it on here in hopes that some of you will do it with me!

>>> what you’ll need:

- mason jar with a lid

- strips of paper ( colored or white)

- whatever your favorite pens are

The idea is to write something that was positive from your day or week and put it in the jar that way at the end of the year, you can open up all of your notes and reflect on the positives the year brought!

It’s easy to get caught up in all the bad just because negatives stick with you more due to the emotions affiliated with it, but this will help you remember all the good things that came from the bad!

Follow along with me and comment below something you want to start in the new year!

This simple practice encourages you to write down something positive that occurred each day on a piece of paper, which you then store in your jar. At the end of the year, open the jar to reflect on all the uplifting moments you experienced throughout the year. Research indicates that focusing on positive aspects can significantly uplift your mental health and overall outlook on life. Embracing this practice not only fosters gratitude but also assists in combating the often overwhelming negative thoughts that can arise during challenging times. Mental health experts suggest that engaging in positive reflection can enhance emotional resilience, helping individuals cope more effectively with stress. To get started, gather a mason jar, colorful strips of paper, and your favorite writing pens. Each evening or weekly, set aside a few moments to jot down your highlights, whether it's a small victory, a moment of joy, or a cherished interaction. This encourages mindfulness and acts as a wonderful reminder of the good things life offers, even amid difficulties. Don't hesitate to share your motivation or affirmations in the comments below, and let’s cultivate a community of positivity together in 2025. Remember, this exercise is not just about documenting the good; it's about shifting focus to nurture a more optimistic perspective toward life.
