My daughter is an amazing sleeper at night, but it is incredibly hard to get her to take 2 longer naps throughout the day and usually get 30-40 mins to do some chores. This is what I do while my 6 month old naps!
🛏️: Make the bed
👔: Fold some laundry
👶🏻: Baby woke up, so I moved her down to her car seat
🧺: Bring the rest of the laundry downstairs with the baby
🩶: 2 piles; Donate pile and put in 0-3m box and away
👧🏻: Baby girl had an explosion and then wanted to do some tummy time!
So I really got about 28-30 mins out of this nap! If anyone has some sleep training advice of maybe how to get an hour.. I am so open to advice!!
*I have spoken to her doctor about her sleeping in her stroller, and I would never leave my daughter unattended while sleeping in it*

1. **Create a To-Do List**: Make a quick list of urgent tasks for the day. Prioritize essential chores like folding laundry and making the bed, ensuring you accomplish what’s necessary during that brief window.
2. **Limit Distractions**: Set up a designated space where you can focus on your tasks. Avoid distractions such as social media or TV to maximize productivity during nap time.
3. **Practice Self-Care**: If time permits, take a few moments for yourself. Whether it's enjoying a cup of tea or simply resting, self-care is crucial for mental health.
4. **Sleep Training**: If you’re struggling with shorter naps, consider gentle sleep training methods. Techniques such as establishing a consistent pre-nap routine and creating an optimal sleeping environment can encourage longer sleep durations. Experts suggest maintaining a calming atmosphere and avoiding stimulating activities just before nap time.
5. **Community Support**: Don’t hesitate to seek out fellow moms for advice on managing nap times and sleep training. Platforms like #momlife and #momadvice can provide valuable insights and support from those who share similar experiences.
With the right strategies, you can turn nap time into productive and enriching moments for both you and your little one.
