Don’t HIDE Him but Don’t Post Him

I do not post my partner on my social media and that is okay! I am a huge fan of not regularly posting him. My main reason is because since I post myself online regularly, that does not mean he wants to be online regularly. Relationships are private and I don't want sharing him or us to damage anything. If he wants to stay private, he should be able to do so and I certainly do not want to subject him to any unwanted attention or hate. Also, my accounts are about me, not him!!

But it is important to not hide them. Sometimes I'll put my partner or part of him on my story and he is okay with that. I talk about him and make his presence known. I am not trying to convey anything else by not posting him!

These are some things to consider with your relationship!

Not only does it protect your partner from unwanted attention and negativity, but it also strengthens the bond you share by keeping certain moments sacred. It's perfectly normal to choose not to showcase your partner on social media. This can be a sign of respect for their autonomy. Making occasional mentions or sharing brief stories can be an excellent way to keep your followers updated while respecting your partner's wishes. A healthy relationship doesn’t require constant public validation; instead, it thrives on mutual understanding and respect. Consider discussing boundaries with your partner, allowing both of you to understand and agree on what’s comfortable to share. Privacy can serve as a protective layer that reinforces trust and intimacy without the pressures of public scrutiny. By focusing on the quality of your relationship rather than the quantity of online presence, you can enjoy a fulfilling connection that isn’t dictated by social media standards. Striking this balance can help foster a deeper appreciation for each other away from the public eye, ensuring that your romantic experiences remain authentic and untainted by external expectations.

i wish my boyfriend would put my picture on his media pages that way other girls would know he has a girlfriend and quit trying to get with him and have secret chats too.😞
