... Read moreOvernight oats have become one of my favorite go-to breakfast options because of how easy they are to prepare and how customizable they can be. This chocolate banana version is especially great for those looking to combine taste, convenience, and nutrition. The use of chocolate protein milk and brownie batter protein powder really gives it a rich, dessert-like flavor while still being healthy. What I love most about this recipe is how it balances macros well—387 calories with a solid 29g of protein and 9g of fiber helps keep you full well into mid-morning. Adding chia seeds not only boosts the fiber content but also provides omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for heart health. For an even creamier texture, I sometimes swap vanilla Greek yogurt for a plain or coconut-based yogurt depending on dietary preferences. The vanilla extract adds subtle flavor that ties all the ingredients together without overpowering the banana topping. If you’re ever low on regular milk like I was, using chocolate protein milk (like Fairlife) is a fantastic alternative that enriches both taste and protein content. Preparing it the night before lets the oats and chia seeds soak up all the flavors, making the oats soft and ready to enjoy straight out of the fridge. To make this recipe your own, feel free to experiment with different protein powders or add-ins such as nuts, seeds, or even a sprinkle of cinnamon. It’s a versatile meal prep option perfect for busy mornings when you need something quick, healthy, and delicious. Give it a try—it might become your new breakfast favorite!
