Here is how to make it
Ingredients:
•sausages
•onion, sliced
•chopped tomato
•chicken stock/powder
•Lentils
•carrots, chopped
•peas
•tomato purée
•Thyme, garlic,paprika, cayenne, bay leaves, black & white pepper
Dumpling dough:
•self-raising flour
•butter
•seasoning

Method:
In a casserole dish or cast iron bring oil to a medium high heat and sear the sausages. Cook for a couple of minutes on each side till golden brown. Place sausages to the side.
Back to the sausage pan add sliced/chopped onion, fry off until golden. Add seasonings, lentils, and stock. Returning the sausages and adding carrot. Let it simmer while adding chopped tomato and a squeeze of purée.
Dumplings:
Combine flour and butter(2:1) until a fine flakey mixture is achieved. Add water & seasoning and shape into dough balls (unless you make a thin mix, then scoop on top of casserole). Place a lid on the dish and bake in the oven at 180* for 20 minutes. Remove the dish half way to add peas and remove the lid for browning.
After the second 10 minutes remove the casserole and serve.
