ตอนหนึ่งของความรักคือช่วงเวลาที่เราต่างต้องเผชิญกับความไม่แน่นอนและความกลัว โดยเฉพาะในความรักระยะไกลที่มีอุปสรรคมากมายทั้งระยะทางและความเชื่อใจ แค่คำว่าบล็อกกันง่าย ๆ ไม่ได้แปลว่าทุกอย่างจะจบ เพราะในความสัมพันธ์แท้จริง สิ่งที่สำคัญคือความพยายามและความจริงใจที่คนสองคนมอบให้กัน แม้เขาจะป่วยหนักจนถึงขั้นมีไข้ 39 องศาและตรวจเจอโควิด เขายังเลือกบินข้ามโลกมาหา นั่นคือการกระทำที่ยืนยันว่าเขาไม่อยากปล่อยมือจากเราไปง่าย ๆ ผมเองเคยผ่านประสบการณ์คล้าย ๆ กัน คือการที่ฝ่ายใดฝ่ายหนึ่งต้องห่างไกล และความเครียดก็ทำให้ต้องปิดกั้นตัวเองไว้บ้าง แต่ในที่สุดเมื่อเราเปิดใจ มันกลับเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ความสัมพันธ์เติบโตมากกว่าที่เคย เพราะการเผชิญหน้ากับความจริงและรับรู้ถึงความตั้งใจของกันและกัน มันคือสิ่งที่คำพูดไม่อาจแทนได้ บทเรียนสำคัญที่ผมอยากแนะนำจากประสบการณ์คือ อย่ารีบสร้างกำแพงความกลัวโดยปราศจากเหตุผล ฟังเสียงของอีกฝ่ายและให้โอกาสเขาได้แก้ไขความผิดพลาด ความรักที่แท้จริงคือการดูแลกันในวันที่แย่ที่สุด ที่ไม่ใช่แค่ช่วงเวลาสบายใจ ท้ายสุด การสื่อสารอย่างตรงไปตรงมาและความอดทนระหว่างกัน จะช่วยสร้างรากฐานความรักที่แข็งแรง ทั้งนี้ก็รวมถึงการให้พื้นที่และเวลาซึ่งกันและกัน โดยเฉพาะในช่วงเวลาที่ต้องผ่านความยากลำบาก เช่น การต้องเฝ้าไข้ในทริปพักผ่อนที่ไม่ได้โรแมนติกอย่างที่วาดฝัน เรื่องราวความรักนี้ไม่ใช่แค่บทเรียนสำหรับวัย 50+ เท่านั้น แต่ยังใช้ได้กับทุกวัยที่กำลังเผชิญกับความสัมพันธ์ระยะไกลหรือความไม่แน่นอนในความรักที่กำลังเดินทางอยู่ หากคุณกำลังสงสัยหรือลังเล อย่าลืมว่ากุญแจสำคัญคือความเชื่อใจในจังหวะที่ยากที่สุด จะทำให้ความรักนั้นมีความหมายและยืนยาวได้จริง
