I see posts like this all the time, so I figured I'd make one too.
There are so many perfectly curated feeds filled with flawless photos and highlight reels. And while I love beautiful content (it's literally my job), I also think there's something really special about sharing what's real.
So here's my reality.
Most days look a lot like this. Messy hair. Toys everywhere. Contact naps. Working during nap time. Filming content with a baby on my hip. Cold coffee. Laundry that needs to be folded. A to-do list that never seems to end.
It's not always glamorous, but it's a life I treasure deeply.
Every single day, I thank God for my baby girl and for the gift of getting to spend this season with her. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I've also been incredibly busy creating content for my amazing clients and brides (which I'm so thankful for), and if I'm being honest, my own social media has taken a bit of a backseat.
I'm working on that.
In a world where AI and perfectly polished content are everywhere, here's a little reminder that there's beauty in the ordinary, too. 🤍

From sharpening time management skills to embracing imperfect moments, I've learned that productivity doesn't always mean being perfect or polished. For example, making vegan sweet potato pancakes for my daughter at 7:00am serves as both nourishment and a moment of connection, even as the day unfolds with constant multitasking.
One important lesson is learning to work during baby’s contact naps and grabbing moments of rest wherever possible, though coffee often ends up cold and laundry piles up. I've found that small routines, like taking the dog for a walk or squeezing in a jeep ride, offer refreshing mental breaks that fuel creativity and patience.
Managing client projects — such as creating content for brides or adjusting name content — happens in between daily parenting duties, sometimes with a baby on my hip. While social media might take a little backseat during these busy days, the real joy is in the authentic sharing of everyday life rather than chasing perfection.
In today’s world dominated by AI and perfectly polished feeds, sharing humble, real-life moments can create deeper connections and inspire others who might feel overwhelmed by unrealistic standards. There is profound beauty in embracing ordinary days filled with toys scattered around, never-ending to-do lists, and simple gratitude for time spent with family. This honest approach cultivates resilience and reminds us all to cherish each moment, even if it’s not picture perfect.
