II Cor 5:10
We don’t have to accept every thought that enters our mind, ESPECIALLY those contrary to what God says (ABOUT US) in His word.
Bring that thought to Him and MAKE it submit to His Word.
In my personal journey of faith, I’ve often found that unhelpful thoughts can sneak in unexpectedly, challenging my confidence and peace. The message from II Corinthians 5:10 reminds me that not every thought deserves acceptance, especially those that contradict what God declares about us. For me, a powerful practice has been to intentionally pause when negative thoughts arise and consciously redirect them by recalling God’s promises and truths from scripture. This act of bringing troubling thoughts before God and submitting them to His Word has transformed the way I handle inner doubts. It’s like having a spiritual checklist that helps me evaluate whether my thought aligns with God’s will. For instance, if I feel unworthy or fearful, I remind myself that God sees me as cherished and strong through Christ. This habit doesn’t eliminate challenges but equips me with a mindset grounded in faith rather than fear or negativity. I also encourage journaling these moments of mental struggle alongside corresponding scriptures that counteract the lies. Over time, it creates a personalized reference that strengthens resilience and nurtures a deeper relationship with God. Embracing the guidance of II Corinthians 5:10 has been a vital part of cultivating a positive and victorious mindset rooted in God’s truth.
