They grow too fast 😭
Watching children grow from infancy into toddlerhood is truly a remarkable journey. The difference between 11 months and 42 months is enormous—not just in size but in personality, skills, and independence. Around 11 months, many babies are beginning to stand or take their first steps, exploring the world with curiosity but still reliant on caregivers. By 42 months, toddlers develop greater coordination, language skills, and individuality, often expressing distinct preferences and emotions. In my experience, this rapid progression often feels bittersweet. You cherish every tiny achievement—whether it's a first word or a new skill—yet the speed at which they change can bring a surprising mix of joy and nostalgia. Capturing these moments through photos or journaling can help preserve memories that otherwise seem fleeting. It's also important to support their growth appropriately by encouraging safe exploration, offering nutritious meals, and providing plenty of love and attention. Watching how much a child can learn and adapt in just a few months never ceases to amaze me, and it reminds me to be present and appreciate the little things. These stages lay vital foundations for lifelong learning and emotional well-being.
