Trust your discernment 🌸
It's incredible how often we look for answers outside ourselves, when often, the most profound guidance is already within. I've learned firsthand the power of trusting my 'God given discernment.' It’s not just a gut feeling; it’s that deep, unwavering inner knowing, sometimes a quiet 'spirit said don't do it' whisper, that steers you away from situations you'd later regret. I can look back at countless times where if I had just listened to that initial 'my intuition' alarm, I could have 'avoided much hurt.' So, how exactly does this spiritual guidance influence our decision-making and help us steer clear of those 'hard lessons'? For me, it starts with recognizing that discernment isn't always loud. It can be subtle, a gentle nudge, a fleeting thought that something feels 'off' about a person or an opportunity. The OCR mentions a 'perfect example today,' where 'in my spirit said don't do it,' and that resonates deeply. It's about cultivating an inner sensitivity to these signals. When faced with a choice, instead of immediately seeking external opinions, I now take a 'moment of silence' to tune into that internal compass. One of the core 'spiritual principles' I've adopted is to always seek stillness before making big moves. This isn't about isolating myself but creating space for that divine wisdom to surface. Prayer and meditation are powerful tools for this, helping to quiet the chatter and hear what the Spirit might be communicating. I've found that when I genuinely connect, the path forward often becomes clearer, and decisions feel more aligned with my true purpose, rather than driven by fear or external pressures. Another crucial aspect is learning to differentiate true discernment from anxiety or wishful thinking. My discernment often comes with a sense of peace, even if the decision is difficult, while anxiety tends to create more turmoil. And, as the OCR passionately states, we must 'stop allowing people' to talk us 'out of your God given discernment.' This is huge! So many times, I’ve had well-meaning friends or family offer advice that, while logical, didn't sit right with my spirit. When I overrode my own intuition because of external pressure, those were often the times I ended up taking 'the wrong way' and experiencing unnecessary challenges. Now, I listen to advice but always filter it through my inner knowing. Embracing 'God given discernment' has truly transformed my approach to 'life' and decision-making. It has become my personal spiritual guide, helping me navigate complex situations, choose 'path direction' with confidence, and, most importantly, 'avoided hard lessons' that I genuinely didn't have to learn the hard way. It’s an ongoing journey of trust and listening, but the rewards—peace, clarity, and a deeper connection to divine wisdom—are immeasurable.
