POV: Your purse turns into a survival kit at Work✨
Being on your period as a grown woman really means carrying around a mini emergency kit everywhere you go 😭
What’s currently in my purse:
• Pads
• Wipes
• Aquaphor + lip gloss
• Warm Vanilla Sugar hand cream
• Perfume & body shimmer mist
• AirPods
• Tic Tacs
• Emergency cash
• And about 17 emotional support items I “might need later” 😭
Because one thing about me… I refuse to be ashy, musty, unprepared, OR cramping in public 😭
And yes, I keep scents in my bag even on my period because if I’m suffering… at least I’m gonna smell good doing it 💅🏽
Lowkey feel like every girl has that one purse that carries her whole life inside it 😭
What’s ONE thing you absolutely HAVE to keep in your purse during your period? 👀

Carrying a well-stocked purse during your period truly feels like having a trusty survival kit by your side. Over time, I've learned that preparation goes beyond just the basics — it’s about comfort, confidence, and even a bit of self-care. For me, apart from pads and wipes, Aquaphor has been a game changer. It helps soothe chapped lips or dry patches, making those moments of discomfort a little easier to bear. Adding a luxurious hand cream like Warm Vanilla Sugar and a favorite perfume or body shimmer mist not only hydrates but uplifts my mood even on tough days. One thing I always include is a small pillow mist or calming spray, which is perfect for refreshing my space and calming any stress that might come with cramps or unexpected changes. Emergency cash is a must-have too; you never know when you'll need it for an emergency taxi ride or an extra box of pads. Keeping a variety of mints like Tic Tacs is another small joy — it keeps my breath fresh and adds a burst of confidence before meetings or social interactions. AirPods are essential to escape into my favorite music or podcasts, creating a personal sanctuary when the day gets overwhelming. Something I’ve discovered is that period comfort is also about emotional support items. I carry little reminders or items that cheer me up, whether it’s a favorite charm, a tiny journal, or even an inspirational note. These help me maintain a positive mindset through the discomfort. For anyone managing period challenges at work or on-the-go, customizing your purse’s survival kit to your personal needs is key. What started as packing the basics evolved into curating a personalized toolkit that addresses physical, emotional, and sensory needs. Remember, it’s all about making those days as manageable and dignified as possible while still embracing your individuality and style. What’s the one must-have item you wouldn’t leave home without during your period?
