That’s not a puppy
Bringing a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience, but it also comes with its challenges. From my own journey with a new puppy, I learned that creating a safe and engaging environment is key to helping your puppy adjust and thrive. One great tool I found helpful was using a "puppy bubble" — a designated safe space that allows your puppy to explore without getting into trouble. This space gives them freedom while keeping them secure. In addition, establishing a consistent daily routine for feeding, playtime, and potty breaks helps your puppy feel secure and speeds up training. Positive reinforcement, such as treats and praise, proved effective in encouraging good behavior. For socialization, gradually exposing your puppy to different people, sounds, and environments helped build their confidence. I also discovered the importance of regular veterinary visits to monitor health and vaccinations. Ensuring your puppy has proper nutrition tailored to their breed and size contributes to overall well-being. Lastly, patience and love make all the difference. Puppies are learning and growing rapidly, so celebrating small victories and understanding setbacks will make your puppy-raising experience fulfilling and joyful.
