... Read moreYou know that feeling when you're genuinely ready to settle down, but every relationship seems to hit a wall because of 'timing'? I've been there, and honestly, it used to drive me crazy. It felt like the universe was playing a cruel joke, constantly throwing up obstacles. But after reading some incredibly insightful perspectives, particularly from authors like Heidi Priebe, I’ve started to see things differently. The idea that 'true love is letting go' deeply resonated with me. It’s not about giving up on love, but about releasing the grip on what isn't serving you, even when it’s incredibly painful. We often cling to relationships, hoping they'll eventually align with our vision of settling down, even if deep down we know they’re not quite right. This clinging can actually prevent us from finding what we truly deserve. Letting go is an act of self-love, creating space for someone who is ready, and for whom timing truly won't be an issue. The phrase 'but timing is a bitch' perfectly captures the frustration, doesn't it? We hear it all the time: 'You met them at the wrong time,' or 'If only the timing were different.' I used to believe it wholeheartedly. But what if, as some powerful writing suggests, timing is often just a convenient excuse? The text from 'The Truth About Meeting Someone At The Wrong Time' really hit home for me. It points out that 'the right people encourage growth and make time irrelevant, as you will always make time for them.' This perspective completely flips the script. If someone is truly right for you, if there's a genuine connection and mutual readiness, then obstacles like 'timing' become far less significant. You make time. You find a way. It’s been a huge realization for me that when we meet 'the wrong people,' we tend to magnify these external 'timing' issues. They become convenient reasons why things can't work, rather than acknowledging that the fundamental fit isn't there. The 'right people' don't require perfect cosmic alignment; they inspire you to grow, overcome challenges, and build a future together, regardless of minor bumps in the road. This shift in mindset has been incredibly liberating. Instead of waiting for perfect timing or blaming external circumstances, I've learned to trust my intuition about whether someone truly encourages my growth or if I'm just making excuses. It’s about being honest with myself about what I need and being brave enough to 'let go' of situations that don't align with my desire to settle down with someone who truly values me. Healing from a 'violated love' or a love that just wasn't meant to be, starts when you stop making excuses and start believing that the right person will make time for you, always.
