girly running essentials 🌸🫶

all jokes aside, it can be v scary to go on a run by yourself as a female. my husband can just go on a run any time of day without a care in the world, and unfortunately, I don’t have that luxury. so to make sure I feel safe and comfortable when I go on a run, I take my taser, and my dog. thankfully I have scary dog privilege (even though he’s the sweetest boy) and he doesn’t like anyone coming near his momma 🤍

👇🏼what do you bring on your runs??

Many female runners experience anxiety when jogging alone, making it essential to prioritize safety. One popular solution is to bring a loyal furry friend along, as a dog can deter unwanted attention. Alongside a dog, items like a taser or pepper spray can provide an extra layer of protection, ensuring a safer running experience. For those concerned about carrying belongings, a belt bag is an excellent accessory to hold essentials like your phone, keys, and safety tools without hindering your run. When selecting gear, consider the latest trends in both safety technology and fashion. Brands like Lululemon offer stylish options that marry functionality with aesthetics, making you feel good while being safe. Additionally, investing in good quality airpods or headphones can enhance your running experience by allowing you to enjoy your favorite music or podcasts, providing a morale boost during your workout. Overall, embracing a combination of safety-first essentials and girly aesthetics can elevate your running routine, helping you feel empowered while hitting the pavement.
