believe it or not (and if you follow any of my teachings, you KNOW this is the truth), the “work” you need to do to release weight is predominantly internal, like 99% internal.
you can work out ALL YOU WANT. you can track your foods, you can be in a calorie “deficit.” IF YOU DO NOT
🦋love yourself as you are
🦋change your relationship with food
🦋release suppressed emotions
the weight you think you’re “losing” will always be found🤷🏿♀️
it’s not about the actions you take, it’s about the CONSCIOUSNESS you’re in when taking the actions.
your external world is mirror of the internal. a LOT of that “physical” weight you’re holding is actually EMOTIONAL weight.
your success in releasing weight is 1% action or strategy. ONE PERCENT. stop avoiding the internal work and you’ll see permanent results🦋
Many people approach weight loss focusing mainly on external efforts such as calorie restriction, strict dieting, and rigorous workout routines. However, lasting success in weight loss is deeply rooted in the internal mindset and emotional health. The concept that emotional weight contributes significantly to physical weight highlights the importance of self-awareness and conscious transformation. Accepting and loving your body as it is provides a foundation for sustainable progress. This self-love reduces internal resistance and emotional stress which often trigger unhealthy eating habits and cravings. Changing your relationship with food from one of restriction to one of balance and mindfulness enables you to nourish your body without guilt or anxiety. Additionally, suppressed emotions stored within the body can manifest as physical weight. Techniques such as emotional release therapy, journaling, or mindful meditation help identify and let go of these repressed feelings. This emotional work facilitates profound healing and breaks the cycle of emotional eating. In essence, weight loss is not about the number of calories burned or food items cut but about the consciousness you bring to every action. Your external world reflects your internal state; improving mental and emotional wellbeing will naturally lead to healthier habits and permanent weight release. The power of internal work — focusing on mindset shifts, emotional healing, and genuine self-acceptance — is why many find that previously 'lost' weight returns when only external strategies are used. Embracing this 99% internal journey transforms weight loss from a temporary change into a lifelong transformation, helping you to reclaim your body, mind, and spirit together.
