Second try at Ice dying
I'm experimenting with ice dye to see about making tie dye sweatpants for my nephew. I'm trying it on a shirt first to see the results before diving in with the sweatpants. I'm excited for the process and to see the results.
The difference between ice dye and regular tie dye is, that ice dye comes out more watercolor whereas typical tie dying comes out more vibrant and you can control where the dye goes. Depending on how complicated the piece you're dying, regular tie dye can take more time with the initial dying process, however curing time is double (48hr cure time instead of 24) for ice dye (from what I've been told anyway) so there's that.
