November reading wrap up

I only read one book for the month of November! I was really slacking, however I was making Christmas gifts so I think that's okay lol! I had to pause a book and read Borne because that book sets the scene/world for the book I paused.

Borne

Jeff Vandermeer

⭐⭐⭐

A woman named Rachel is a survivor and scavenger in a half destroyed city with her partner, Wick. The city is full of creatures made by The Company and they're wreaking havoc everywhere. One day Rachel finds a plant-like creature that turns out to be sentient and she names it Borne. The balance of power shifts as Borne grows and learns from its surroundings, and eventually they have to part ways because Borne was putting her and her partner's home at risk. In the end, nothing will be the same.
