November Reading Wrap Up 📖 23 books 😱

Ok so I got carried away this month 😭 in my own defense, most were audiobooks. My current job gives me plenty of time to listen and I also listen in the car, shower, while cooking, etc.

My top 3 were The Secret Life of Maggie Grey, Just For the Summer and Funny Story.

I think my next post will be my December hopefuls! I know I want mostly holiday reads and to read more physical books and ebooks!

... Read moreNovember is a great time to reflect on your reading habits, and if you're like me, you may find yourself delving into a diverse range of genres. Audiobooks have become a staple for many readers, allowing multitasking whether you’re commuting or cooking. For this month, I focused on 23 books, with notable mentions such as "The Secret Life of Maggie Grey," a gripping tale that explores deeper themes of identity; "Just for the Summer," perfect for lighthearted reading; and "Funny Story," a collection of whimsical narratives that will surely brighten your day. In addition to discussing current reads, it’s exciting to look ahead. As we approach December, many readers set their sights on holiday-themed novels. What could be better than cozying up with a festive book during the holiday season? Ever popular, titles such as "Mistletoe in Juneau" and "Until Yours" offer heartwarming stories perfect for this time of year. The appeal of physical books can’t be understated either, with their tactile experience that delivers joy beyond the page; consider setting a personal goal for reading more print books. And for fellow book lovers on Lemon8, utilizing hashtags like #novemberreads and #bookwormsoflemon8 creates a community to share these reading adventures. Happy reading!

I loved Yellowface and really enjoyed the Boyfriend! I also “read” a lot of audiobooks, but in my opinion it’s total valid to count them towards reading goals 🤷‍♀️🩷
