How PCOS has ruined my confidence

I started birth control at the age of 18 to regulate my periods and little did I know getting off of it would be a nightmare. At the age of 21, I tried getting off the pill, without a consultation with my doctor. I never thought I’d have PCOS. Dealing with PCOS has been such a pain and I just don’t know what to do. My doctor says to go back on birth control, but that is what caused this giant mess in the first place. I used to have such clear skin and now I don’t, my hair would grow so long and quickly, and now I’m lucky if it grows to the middle of my back in 1 yr. I hate that PCOS can be “treated” with supplements, but in the end there’s other outcomes were taking so many supplements. I’ve tried changing my ways of eating working out, but I feel like I’m running out of options. I used to love taking pictures and now I can barely stand taking a picture with my family. My body confidence is -100 whereas before it was never like this.
