Not Weird, but Unique!
#ToxicPeople often throw #labels onto others to disparage, dehumanize, and to intentionally hurt others. When multiple people buy into these tropes, it begins to define the experience of marginalized folks as treated less than. I’ve often found myself, #cool , but I was in wrong circles that was telling me I was weird, because they couldn’t understand me or opposed to their poor thinking. I spent years, undoing #trauma of bullying, by redefining myself, despite if others don’t see my #beauty !
Experiencing toxic labels and bullying can deeply affect one’s sense of identity, especially when you’re surrounded by people who fail to see your true value. From my own journey, I’ve learned that the key to healing lies in self-acceptance and reclaiming your narrative. Practicing daily affirmations about your beauty and worth can slowly dismantle the innerized negativity.
