I almost retired this wig
I had a non heat friendly wig that reached the point where I stopped wearing her completely. The fibers felt rough and she just wasn’t wearable anymore.
After seeing someone carefully use a hot air brush on a non heat friendly wig, I decided to try it myself. Lowest heat, underneath only, slow and intentional.
The difference honestly surprised me. The fibers softened and I started wearing her again instead of letting her sit on a stand.
Important note because this matters
Non heat friendly wigs can be permanently damaged by heat. This worked for me, but always test first and stay on the lowest heat possible. If you are not comfortable with that risk, skip heat entirely.
I share real tips and experiences to help both new and experienced wig wearers get more life out of their wigs.
