But don't let her love for sleep fool you; she's also incredibly playful and active. Speaking of favorites, Ruby has a few quirky obsessions. First up: Squishmallows! Yes, my 75lb Goldendoodle has a soft spot for these plush toys. She loves cuddling with them, sometimes even trying to “herd” them” around the house. It's the cutest thing to watch. Then there's her ultimate treat: ice cream! Who knew dogs could be such ice cream connoisseurs? We always make sure it's a dog-friendly version, of course, or just a tiny lick of ours, but the pure joy on her face when she gets even a small taste is priceless. It's those little things that make owning a dog so rewarding. But if there's one thing Ruby was born to do, it's swim! Her favorite thing to do is splash around in the pool, often with a yellow toy firmly gripped in her mouth. Watching her glide through the water is amazing, and it's such a great way for her to burn off energy, especially for a 2-year-old active Goldendoodle like her. If you have a doodle, you know they tend to love water, so finding a safe place for them to swim can be a real game-changer for their exercise routine.
