AI portraits Are So Easy To Create ✨
It’s so easy to make your own AI portraits! And the best thing is? It’s free! I love that there are so many different styles to choose from. This is how I did it!
Hey Lemon8 fam! So, I've seen so many of you looking for those super cool, vintage-style AI photobooth strips, right? You know, the kind that take your selfie and turn it into a classic black and white photo series with different expressions like winking, laughing, or even a surprised look, all while keeping your facial features perfectly recognizable. I totally get it – that retro, grainy film texture is just *chef's kiss*! While Lemon8's AI Portraits feature might not generate a perfect four-frame strip *in one go*, I've found some awesome ways to get that exact vibe and even create your own personalized strips. It's all about playing around with the 'different styles' available and getting creative with how you 'upload photos' and 'remix' your look. First off, making your 'own AI portrait' on Lemon8 is super straightforward and, yes, it's 'free'! You just head to the 'AI Portraits' tab. The key here is to select a good quality selfie where your face is well-lit and clear. The AI is pretty good at keeping your core facial features intact, which is exactly what we want for those authentic photobooth looks. Now, for those specific expressions – winking, laughing, surprised, neutral smile – you can try a couple of things. If you have several selfies with these different expressions, 'upload photos' of each one separately. Then, let the AI generate a portrait for each. Alternatively, you can generate multiple portraits from a single selfie and see what unique expressions the AI comes up with. I've noticed certain 'different styles' can emphasize different moods. For example, some might give a more playful or dramatic vibe. Look for styles like 'Midnight caller' or 'Movie fright' from the OCR results, which might lean into more expressive or vintage aesthetics. To get that cramped, vintage photobooth feel with a plain backdrop and black and white, you'll want to experiment with the 'different styles' offered. Keep an eye out for filters or artistic styles that lean towards monochrome or sepia tones, or those that have a simplified background. While it might not render a physical photobooth, many styles can give you that classic, slightly-off-white curtain backdrop *effect*. And for that 'grainy film texture,' some of the more artistic or 'retro' styles can definitely add that touch of authenticity. Once your 'Al Portrait is ready' (which usually takes about '30 to 60 seconds' during the 'generating' process), you can then 'save' each individual portrait. Here's where the DIY photobooth strip magic happens! Take your favorite portraits – say, one winking, one smiling, one surprised – and use a simple photo editing app outside of Lemon8 to combine them into a 'single vertical, four-frame classic photobooth strip.' There are tons of free collage apps that can do this easily. You can even add a black border between frames to really mimic that old-school look. Don't forget to 'share' your amazing creations! I love seeing how everyone uses these tools. So, go ahead, 'click from Lemon8' and 'scroll until' you find the 'Al Portraits' tab. Experiment with the 'different styles', get those unique expressions, and create your very own 'free' vintage AI photobooth strips. It's a fantastic way to reimagine yourself and have some fun with AI!
