Incorporate adequate cushion time to accommodate any delays—it's advisable to account for 5 to 10 minutes between events. Understanding the availability of your vendors is key. For instance, if your photographer is booked for 6 hours, plan the timeline accordingly to maximize their coverage. Consider your hair and makeup team as well; with them arriving early, you may want to start your day with beauty preparations well in advance of the ceremony. Divide your timeline into two halves for clarity. For the first half, outline activities leading up to the ceremony. Examples include the arrival of the hair and makeup team, bridal party dressing, and capturing pre-ceremony photos. Schedule moments like the first look and family portraits to ensure they fit within your timeframe. Transition into the second half of the day after the ceremony.
