Rating My Old Cringey Drawings!! 😒
I have to say there are a lot more that I am too embarrassed to post! I was such a cringey middle schooler/freshman 😫
Someday, I will look back on these and laugh. Today, though, I look at them and cringe 😅
Reflecting on our artistic journeys can often lead to moments of embarrassment. Many artists, like myself, have a collection of early sketches and drawings that might make us cringe when revisited. It’s important to remember that every masterpiece begins with a thousand failed attempts. Sharing these old works not only provides a glimpse into our evolution as artists but also fosters a sense of community. You’re not alone in feeling awkward about your past art! Many creators relate to this experience, and discussing it openly can encourage others on their artistic paths. If you're looking to improve your art, consider seeking feedback or joining art communities where you can share your progress. Engaging with fellow artists can help you evolve and develop your unique style while appreciating where you started. Don't be afraid to showcase your work, regardless of how cringey you think it might be! Embrace your beginnings—after all, they shape who you are as an artist today. Exposure to various forms of art and styles, sharing experiences, and learning from critiques can be transformative. Remember, each piece, no matter how cringe-worthy it feels, is a stepping stone toward artistic growth and self-discovery.
