How much is the cost of a house design in 2025??
Home design costs depend on many factors, but there are essentially two ways to charge:
🔺 based on construction value.
This method will charge a percentage of the total construction cost, which will cascade to the value of the project, the higher the value, the smaller the percentage.
• The construction value is less than 5 million baht. The design cost is about 7.5% - 10% of the construction cost.
• Construction value of 5-10 million baht. The design cost will be about 5.6% - 7.5% of the construction cost.
• The construction value of 10-30 million baht. The design cost will be about 4.5% - 5.6% of the construction cost.
For example, if the construction cost is 5 million baht, the design cost is about 375,000 to 500,000 baht.
If the construction cost of the house is 15 million baht, the design cost is about 1.05 million baht (7.5% for the first 10 million and 6% for the remaining 5 million).

This is a common and easy to understand method, and the price depends on the complexity of the house and the scope of the work.

👉🏼, sophisticated / modern style, about 500-1,000 baht per sqm.
👉🏼 If it is a architectural and structural design (ready to sign), the price will rise to about 300 - 1,500 baht per sq m or more, depending on the provider.
👉🏼 If designing architecture, structure and systems (one-stop), the price will be higher than the first two, starting from 500 to 2,000 baht per sq m or higher.

If the design cost is 1,000 baht / sq m, it will be about 200,000 baht.

• Scope of work agreed
