... Read moreOMG, you guys, I'm still absolutely buzzing from my husband's latest surprise! He knows how much I adore Hello Kitty, and he totally outdid himself this time. I walked in and there it was – a giant, utterly adorable Hello Kitty holiday greeter! Seriously, my heart just melted. It's not just any Hello Kitty; it's a Hello Kitty plush toy dressed as Frankenstein! How cute is that for Halloween? Let me tell you about this little monster-cutie. It’s got all the classic Frankenstein details but made super sweet. There are cute little stitches on her face, and even tiny metallic bolts on her head, but of course, she’s still rocking her signature pink bow. She's wearing an unexpectedly chic teal shirt and black pants, which I think adds to her charm. And to top it all off, she’s holding a little plush pumpkin! It’s just the perfect touch for fall and Halloween decor. I can't stop smiling every time I look at it. These Hello Kitty holiday greeters are seriously the best for adding a festive touch to any space. They just bring so much joy and a bit of playful nostalgia. If you're a fan like me, you know the thrill of collecting these limited-edition pieces. They make your home feel so much more welcoming and fun during the holidays. I’m already on a mission to find the Thanksgiving one, and I hear there are some amazing Christmas and Easter ones too! It’s like a treasure hunt every season. For anyone looking to start their own collection or find specific ones, a good place to start is checking big box retailers around the holidays, both in-store and online. Sometimes specialty toy stores or even online marketplaces like eBay or Mercari can have older or rarer editions, though prices can vary. Keep an eye out early, because they tend to sell out fast! Social media groups for Hello Kitty collectors are also a goldmine for spotting new releases or getting tips on where to find them. It's a fun community to be a part of. Displaying them is half the fun! I love placing mine by the front door to literally 'greet' guests, or sometimes on a console table where everyone can admire it. They just add instant cheer. This Frankenstein one is going to be the star of my Halloween setup this year. What are your favorite Hello Kitty holiday greeters? I'd love to hear about them and get some inspiration for my next find!
