🔸𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

-2 cups Water

-2 Black tea bags or 1 tbsp loose leaf black tea strong and robust, like Assam or Ceylon

-1 1 Apple, thinly sliced (or 1/4 cup dried apple)

-2 Cinnamon sticks

-1/4 Ground nutmeg (or a small pinch of freshly grated nutmeg)

-1 Star anise pod (optional)

-Maple syrup (optional)

🔸𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

𝟭. Add the apple slices, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and star anise pod (if using) into a saucepan with boiling water and reduce the heat to a simmer. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

𝟮. After simmering, add the black tea to the saucepan. Let the tea steep in the simmering water for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

𝟯. Remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea, and also strain the apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise. Pour the tea into your favorite cups.
