Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring! I made another batch of my protein bagels and to one half I added JalapeƱos, and topped it with part skim mozzarella cheese, and everything but the bagel seasoning and for the blueberry one I used frozen blueberries added swerve sweetener microwaved for 2 mins and mixed in with my dough. I then placed monk fruit sweetener mixed with cinnamon on top of the dough once I formed the bagels and it was the best combo ever. 10/10 would recommend!

JalapeƱo mozzarella bagel:

1 cup self rising flour

1 cup non fat greek yogurt

16 grams or 1 small whole jalapeƱo

26 grams part skim mozzarella

1 tablespoon egg whites for egg wash

about a teaspoon everything but the bagel seasoning

macros:

164 cal

24g carb

12g protein

1g fat

Blueberry bagel:

1 cup self rising flour

1 cup non fat greek yogurt

100-110 grams frozen wild blueberries (i did about 110 but i think it’s too much and could do less)

about 1-2 tablespoons swerve sugar

1 tablespoons monk fruit sweetener mixed with about 1 teaspoon cinnamon

macros:

153 cal

26g carb

10g protein

0g fat

for both recipes cook at 350F for about 30-35 mins

It’s not just a binder; it’s a powerhouse of protein that gives these bagels their chewiness and a significant protein boost, which is exactly what people are looking for when searching for a 'protein bagel nutrition label.' This combination helps create a bagel that’s not only low in calories but also keeps you feeling fuller for longer, avoiding that mid-morning snack craving. Let’s talk about the specific nutrition. For instance, my savory jalapeƱo mozzarella bagels come in at just 164 calories with 12g of protein, while the sweet blueberry bagels are a mere 153 calories with 10g of protein. These numbers are fantastic, especially when you compare them to traditional bagels which can easily hit 300-400 calories with much less protein. Knowing these 'low calorie bagels' can fit into your daily macros without guilt is truly liberating.
