A Morning of Serendipity and Protection
I had a very eventful morning that I feel I just have to share because I totally believe this was the butterfly effect right in front of my face 🦋. This morning, while I was getting ready for work, I was looking at my butterfly tattoo which I got for my late grandmother, and I was just thinking about going ahead and getting my four-leaf clover tattoo in her honor as well 🍀. Trust me, this is an important detail. Anyways, I lock up the house and go on my way, only to walk up to my car and see my tire is FLAT 😩. So I call my stepdad, and he was about an hour away, so I had to wait around.
While waiting, I look down next to my tire and see a patch of clovers 🍀. I give it a glance, and I kid you not, I found 10 four-leaf clovers, literally minutes after thinking about making the appointment to get my tattoo. If I had stayed longer, I’m sure I would’ve found more. My late grandma loved four-leaf clovers 🌿; she was so Irish and couldn’t have been more proud to be Irish. I completely believe she messed with my tire.
About 2 hours later, I finally start heading to work 🚗, and just before I get on the highway, I see emergency vehicles 🚑🚓 at the intersection where I would have been if I had left any sooner. There was a nasty accident. I wholeheartedly believe my grandmother held me back from leaving so I wouldn’t have been involved, whether it was witnessing, being in it, or what have you. Someone was looking out for me this morning and told me to wait. What if I didn’t have the flat? Would it have been me? What if I just fixed my tire myself like I was going to instead of waiting for my stepdad? So many what-ifs, but I’m blessed and so happy to be here 🙏.
