Instead of buying one single-family home at a time, you can acquire multiple units under one roof, with one transaction, one loan, and often one property management setup. This means you're adding more doors, and more income streams, with less transactional friction. Of course, multi-family investing isn't without its challenges. The upfront cost can be higher, and managing multiple tenants might seem daunting. However, with good property management in place, these challenges are very manageable.
