As I’m posting this we’re done 😎 time to chill
After a busy day ticking off everything on our Sunday reset to-do list, there's something truly satisfying about finally sitting back and relaxing. For us, this daily ritual isn’t just about completing chores or errands, but about spending quality time together and setting a peaceful tone for the week ahead. We usually start our Sunday reset by tackling small home projects or planning the upcoming week’s meals, allowing us to avoid last-minute stress. Sometimes, I might feel like putting it off—just like the words I captured on the sign, “I DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING IT TODAY”—but pushing through those moments really pays off in mental clarity. In our reset, we prioritize simple pleasures, like enjoying a favorite drink (maybe something refreshing, hinted by words like “HYDRO” or “thrive” on our list) and turning off screens to focus on each other. The phrase “IT'S ALL GOOD” sums up our approach: accepting imperfections and focusing on what feels right. This practice strengthens our bond as a husband and wife team. It also helps us set an example for our kids, which ties into the #parentsoftiktok community I’m part of. By sharing our Sunday reset and day-in-my-life moments, I hope to inspire other couples and parents to create their own meaningful routines that blend productivity with downtime. Ultimately, Sundays are about balance—getting things done without losing sight of rest and connection. Time to chill after a job well done is essential for recharging and facing the new week with energy and positivity.
