The Most Pointless Ghosting I’ve Experienced 😓

I just went through the most annoying dating experience ever.

So I talked to this guy for two months. He was super sweet, responsive, sending videos, planning our date like he was genuinely excited. We confirmed the time, the place, everything.

And then the day came… and he completely disappeared. No text, no “can’t make it,” nothing. Just pure silence.

The funniest part? He was active on Snapchat the whole time, just choosing not to reply. The next morning, he simply unadded me. That’s how it ended. I’m so tired of people wasting others’ time like this.

This is so annoying that wasting other people's energy and time.

Why do people do this instead of just saying “I can’t go”? What's your "ghosting" story you heard or experienced?

... Read moreGhosting is unfortunately a common and painful part of modern dating, especially with the rise of dating apps and social media platforms like Snapchat. When someone suddenly cuts off all communication without any warning or explanation, it not only leaves the other person confused but also disrespected and hurt. This kind of behavior wastes emotional energy and often leaves the ghosted person questioning what went wrong. One possible reason why people ghost instead of being upfront is fear of confrontation or awkwardness. Saying "I can't go" or "I don't want to continue" requires emotional effort, which some people try to avoid by simply disappearing. Additionally, some may want to keep their options open or lose interest gradually without accountability. However, ghosting isn’t just frustrating—it can have real emotional effects, causing feelings of rejection, anxiety, and lowered self-esteem. That’s why many dating experts advise that honesty and clear communication, even when delivering disappointing news, are signs of respect and maturity. For those experiencing ghosting, it can help to remember that it’s not a reflection of your worth but a limitation of the other person’s character. Setting boundaries, focusing on personal growth, and seeking supportive friends can assist in healing from such experiences. Also, sharing stories and advice, like in forums tagged #datingadvice101 and #letschat, creates a community that helps many cope better. Ultimately, while ghosting is a painful experience, it’s also a chance to learn about the importance of healthy communication and to recognize red flags early in dating. Everyone deserves transparency and respect in relationships, and refusing to accept ghosting as normal behavior can help promote better dating cultures.

Most people quit journaling for the same reason.

They think they're doing it wrong. They buy a beautiful notebook… Write a few entries… Then stop because it feels awkward, forced, or pointless. But here’s the truth: There is no single “correct” journaling technique. The best journaling method is simply the one that works for you

What To Say When He Ghosts Then Flips It On You
When he ghosts… then blames you for it? That’s not confusion. That’s reversal. And it’s one of the fastest ways to pull you back into the same dynamic. Instead of accountability, you get: • “you’re overreacting” • “it’s not that deep” • “you’re doing too much” So now the focus shift

This page from an investment book discusses how investors often misunderstand property returns by focusing solely on price growth. It introduces the concept of evaluating the full potential returns from investment property, including passive price gains from appreciation and inflation.
This page continues the discussion on property investment, explaining that appreciation rates vary significantly by location. It emphasizes that appreciation is not always necessary for profit, highlighting cash flow and buying below market value as alternative strategies for building wealth.
This page, titled "ACHIEVE A PROSPEROUS FUTURE: 22 WAYS YOU CAN EARN PROFITS WITH PROPERTY," critiques the "Stocks for the long run" mantra. It challenges Charles Ellis's view that residential real estate is not a great investment, citing his argument about home prices lagging CPI and Treasury bills.

You don’t need a new life — you need a new lens. Most frustration doesn’t come from what your life looks like. It comes from how you’re interpreting it. The same routines can feel heavy or steady. The same effort can feel pointless or meaningful. That difference isn’t motivation. It’s t
