Hey fellow craft lovers! I've been absolutely obsessed with making paper squishies lately, and there's nothing quite as satisfying as creating your own adorable, squeezable stress reliever. If you're anything like me, you've probably seen those super cute Haribo Gummy Bear paper squishies online and wondered how to make one. Well, you're in luck because I'm here to share my step-by-step guide to crafting your very own HARIBO-themed squishy! First things first, let's gather our supplies. You'll need some paper (regular printer paper works great, but cardstock makes it more durable), a printer (unless you're an amazing artist and want to draw your own Haribo Gummy Bear design!), scissors, clear packing tape or a laminator, and some stuffing material. For stuffing, I've experimented with cotton balls, plastic bags, and even old foam packaging – each gives a slightly different 'squish' feel, so feel free to play around! Now, for the fun part: getting your Haribo Gummy Bear design. You can easily find a 'paper squishy template haribo' online by searching. I usually print out a few different sizes of the iconic HARIBO goldbear or even the full bag design. If you're feeling creative, you can trace an actual Haribo Gummy Bear bag or draw your own interpretation. Once you have your design, print two copies of it, or fold one in half if you're drawing directly. Next, carefully cut out both pieces of your Haribo Gummy Bear design. This is where patience comes in! Try to be as precise as possible for the best results. Once cut, we need to make them durable. I personally love using clear packing tape to laminate my squishies. Cover both sides of each paper cut-out completely with tape, making sure to overlap slightly to create a strong, sealed surface. You can also use a laminating machine if you have one – it makes them super smooth and resilient. After taping, place the two taped Haribo Gummy Bear cut-outs on top of each other, aligning them perfectly. Now, using your clear packing tape, start taping the edges together. Leave a small opening, about an inch or two, at one end. This opening is where we'll add the stuffing. This is my favorite part! Gently start pushing your chosen stuffing material into the opening. Don't overstuff it, or it won't be very squishy. You want it to be puffy but still have plenty of give when you squeeze it. For a softer squish, use less stuffing; for a firmer one, add a bit more. Once you're happy with the amount, carefully tape up the remaining opening, sealing your Haribo Gummy Bear paper squishy completely. And there you have it! Your very own DIY Haribo Gummy Bear paper squishy. I find these so incredibly satisfying to make and to squish. They’re perfect for keeping your hands busy during online meetings, as a cute desk decoration, or even as a thoughtful handmade gift. Experiment with different HARIBO candy designs – the possibilities are endless! Happy squishing!
