It’s winter so skin hydration is important

When my skin gets dry and dull in ghe winter, I do not worry about exfoliating my skin to get the pimples gone and skin perfect, instead I focus on hydration as it is more effective to revive the skin barrier than straight up opt for the exfoliation when it’s the skin is already and the humid temperature.

When taking care of your skin, remember if it’s not a persistent issue like hormonal acne or dark spots, keeping it simple and hydrated is the best thing you can do for your skin. It will thank you for it.

Also if you are interested in skincare and passionate about targeting skin concerns, follow me because i will be sharing a lot about beauty stuff including skincare and makeup and how to navigate the both. Come along babes, I am excited for the ride. #newtolemon8 #skincare #skinhydration #winterskinroutine

... Read moreWinter can be harsh on the skin, making hydration more crucial than ever. Utilizing hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and natural oils can create a protective barrier against dryness. It's important to choose a heavier moisturizer in winter as it helps lock in moisture better than lighter products. Also, consider incorporating a humidifier in your home to combat dry air, which can exacerbate skin problems. Remember to adjust your cleansing routine; use a gentle, creamy cleanser that won't strip your skin of its natural oils. Lastly, don’t forget your lips! A good lip balm is essential to prevent chapped lips during the winter months. Following these steps can significantly improve your skin's resilience and hydration level. For those passionate about skincare, engaging in discussions and sharing experiences with a community can be highly beneficial.
