My mental capacity nowadays is in a space deficit, I don't have much room for nonsense. We are keeping the peace for the rest of our life, not just for the year.
🤍 My Takeaways:
vulnerability
there's no better gratification than leaving negativity where it begins, being open and honest in the moment keeps my stress away moving forward.
rain walks
something about it just replenishes my aura instantly. 🖕🏽the umbrella and get your hair wet girl, I promise it'll dry up. It's just spiritually nurturing.
be still
No seriously, literally do nothing, at home, at the park, in the club, wherever its necessary 😅, do absolutely nothing, because you can. Breaks from social norms and influence is a top tier practice to put a pause on the BS and get in touch with your organic self.
sleep
i refuse to fight the power and forces against me, when my eyes feel heavy, I'm taking my butt to sleep. even if it's only for 15 minutes.
he said "be whimsical"
when is the last time you played an active game or hung from a monkey bar? I gave myself the biggest wake up call and laugh trying to hang upside down from a monkey bar, turns out my upper body has a little more weight then I remember 😅 my poor calves were digging into that bar, knee caps clenching for dear life. It made a difference!
be ok with your boring😤
Boring is good, it means there's a lot you have yet to experience 💞

Beyond the valuable habits shared, I’ve found that integrating mindfulness meditation into my daily routine significantly enhances my ability to stay present and calm. Just five to ten minutes each morning focusing on breathing helps me prepare mentally for the day ahead, reducing space for stress and negativity.
Another practice that's helped me is consciously creating moments of stillness throughout the day—whether it's pausing to savor a cup of tea or simply sitting quietly without distractions. These breaks serve as mental resets and amplify the benefit of ‘doing nothing’ that was mentioned.
Regarding rain walks, I too have experienced how reconnecting with nature, feel the rain on my skin, or just letting go of the need to stay dry can be spiritually uplifting. It’s a reminder that sometimes letting ourselves be vulnerable to the elements parallels our willingness to embrace emotional vulnerability.
Sleep is another cornerstone of peace. I used to resist napping, but allowing myself short naps or early nights has dramatically improved my mood and resilience. Listening to my body, like you do, is key.
Lastly, embracing playfulness and being ‘whimsical’ really breaks the monotony and injects joy. Whether it’s swinging on monkey bars or dancing silly at home, these moments remind me that peace includes joy and lightness, not just calm.
Incorporating these habits feels like tending a garden—each practice nurtures a part of the mental landscape. Over time, the garden flourishes with peace, resilience, and a well-balanced mind.
