My job forgot to give me my time off!

My employer increases the amount of time off you earn after the first year of employment with them, however when I reached my first year they forgot to increase the hours off per pay period I earn!!!

Luckily they did notice this (after almost an entire year went by!) and paid me all the time I was missing out on in a lump sum!

It ended up being almost a weeks worth of time I was missing and ultimately benefited me for this to happen because after I depleted my time off for maternity leave was when I got my time paid out to me!!

I am very grateful they made the situation right and actually paid me my hours because I wasn’t even the one who noticed🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Moral of the story: pay attention to your rights as an employee and what you are entitled to!!!
