Don’t give up. read this 🫶✨
For every little girl, little boy, man, or woman on a mission right now: do not give up. Consider this your official sign to keep pushing through the hard times, the heavy tears, and the silent daily battles.
Nobody truly knows how hard you’ve had to fight just to stand where you are today. Nobody knows the weight except you.
A reminder to anyone healing:
Don’t you ever let your family, your parents, or anyone else make you feel “less than” just because they don’t understand your journey. If you put the work in, if you know what it took to survive and build yourself back up—celebrate yourself. Always. No matter how big or small the victory seems to the outside world. If you’re like me, and you’ve experienced deep trauma—if you’ve had to fight it completely alone from a young age all the way into your adulthood—please know this: I see you. I know how heavy it is. The weight can feel paralyzing. It feels constant. But at the end of the day, it takes your inner strength to pull yourself out of the dark and get things done. You are your own hero.
Thank you God for carrying me through my trauma. Through every breakdown, You provided a breakthrough.
To everyone who has loved, supported, and cheered me on through every milestone—thank you. I am forever grateful for the memories of everything I’ve achieved (and everything I’ve at least had the courage to attempt!).
To me, this is still just the beginning of something incredibly great. This journey has been a brutal fight, but I am standing here today forever grateful for it all—the good, the bad, and the beautiful chapters yet to be written.
Keep fighting. Your story isn’t over. 💪🏽✨
Having personally navigated the complexities of trauma and healing, I can attest to how isolating and heavy the journey can feel. There were moments when the weight of my past—and the misunderstanding from others—seemed unbearable. Yet, what helped me most was embracing self-compassion and recognizing that my progress, no matter how incremental, was a testament to my strength. One strategy that I found invaluable was journaling my daily thoughts and small wins. This simple act helped me acknowledge growth I might have otherwise overlooked and motivated me to keep moving forward. I also discovered the importance of building a support network; even if family couldn't fully understand, finding friends, counselors, or communities who recognized my struggles made a significant difference. Moreover, faith and spirituality, much like the author’s gratitude for divine guidance, provided a stable foundation during breakdowns. I often reminded myself that breakthroughs come from perseverance despite setbacks. Celebrating each breakthrough—whether emotional, mental, or physical—created a positive feedback loop that fueled my resilience. If you're on this path of recovery, remember that your story is unique and valid. Don’t let anyone diminish your experience or timeline. Whether your victories feel monumental or modest, they all contribute to the masterpiece of your life. Your inner strength is real, and every day you choose to continue is a victory worth honoring.
