A little bit about me ✨

Hello everyone! My journey in the nursing field has been both challenging and rewarding. After completing an accelerated nursing program in Southern California, I graduated and obtained my RN license in July. Nursing school tested my limits, but the friendships I formed during this time were invaluable. Currently, I work as a school nurse, a role I genuinely enjoy. I'm passionate about pediatric care and striving towards further education to become a clinical educator. My dream is to specialize in Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, or Medical/Surgical nursing for my new grad program. It’s important to remember that pursuing your dreams is possible, no matter your age. At 28, I exemplify that it’s never too late, especially with the unwavering support of my family. I also want to shed light on some of the common challenges faced in pediatric nursing, such as understanding congenital heart defects and the critical interventions required for infants and children. Staying informed about health issues, along with robust clinical practice, is vital in providing the best care for our young patients. I hope to inspire others in the nursing community to share their journeys and passions as well!
