I enrolled my daughter in December and received the first book in January (Of course, it was one of my favorites). I used this book to teach sorting. I read the book to my daughter and then had her place the teddy bears on the correct color. Although I used this book for math, I also hit on some literacy skills by following the reading tips recommended. I asked questions about the book and pointed out objects (that I knew she was familiar with) to help guide her learning. I’m looking forward to February’s book next week.
