As I get older, I keep walking into things. Quilt shops and fabric store mostly... so really no complaints. I recently dropped into one of my favorite local quilt shops, Johnson's, in Altus, OK. I picked up a cute project panel and backing fabric for the christmas advent calendar. My family and I had gone to Altus for another event, so they were with me at the shop so I had to keep my spending under control. Next time I will try to go alone.
I found Johnson's a few years ago when they were in the Oklahoma Shop Hop, and have have been going back since. They have a large, and wonderful fabric selection - including 1930s reprocuction fabric, children's novelty prints, to modern popular patterns by known brands and designers, and with a special room dedicated to Christmas fabrics. There is a good selection or notions and trims, and excellent advice if you ask the owner for any assistance. Highly recommend if you are in or close to aaltus, OK. Johnson's is located in their adorable downtown area.
